EMR Capacity Market Portal
A new EMR Portal was implemented for the Capacity Market (CM) in June 2024 and is now used to manage all CM processes with the exception of the CM Auction which will continue to run in the existing auction system.
The EMR CM Portal aims to streamline transactions, improve guidance, and provide personalised customer journeys for the capacity market participant.
Our new dedicated knowledge website has also been established providing all the guidance documents and associated training videos for all the processes required during your journey through the Capacity Market.
Since the new EMR Portal was implemented in June 2024, we have moved into the continuous improvement phase including the implementation of Rule and Regulatory changes.
Regular checkpoints will be held to take direct feedback from customers and delivery partners at key business process steps in the operational plan to shape the future of our services.
The EMR Delivery Body Customer Portal Road Map helps visualise the activities planned in the remainder of Financial Year 2025 (01 April 2024 - 31 March 2025) and into Q1 of Financial Year 2026 (01 April 2025 - 31 March 2026)
Taking direct feedback from customers to help facilitate a transparent and collaborative partnership in delivering an improved customers’ experience. The Portal Survey was sent to all active Capacity Market Portal Users and was open for 4 weeks from 15 October 2024 to 11 November 2024.

Continuing to collaborate with our user group is essential for the ongoing success and improvement of our portal. By maintaining this partnership, we can continue to gather current feedback, identify areas for enhancements, and prioritise features that will provide the most value to users.

Familiarisation window - 18 March 2024 to 5 April 2024
The EMR DB are encouraging customers to register interest in participating in full end-to-end familiarisation window. This will allow you to get direct, hands-on experience with Capacity Market processes in the new EMR DB Portal before full functionality is released and provide us with valuable feedback for improvements.
We intend to offer end-to-end familiarisation of the Capacity Market process on the new Portal, including: prequalification, disputes, pre-auction activities, auction results (CANs) and agreement management activities. Our dates for the end-to-end familiarisation window are 18 March 2024 to 5 April 2024.
