Supplier Code of Conduct
The NESO Supplier Code of Conduct, outlines NESO expectations and standards of ethical behaviour. All suppliers, their subcontractors, and their respective workforces must comply with this Code when working on behalf of NESO.

We are committed to making it easier to do business with NESO by providing a single digital environment for all supplier interactions. Ivalua is our end‑to‑end procurement solution, covering sourcing, contracting, and transacting. Through Ivalua, you will be able to:
- Participate in RFx/Tender events
- Access your contracts with us
- Maintain your company information
- Receive purchase orders
- Submit invoices and track payment status
- Communicate securely with key NESO stakeholders (e.g. Procurement, Finance, Contract Managers)
Your Relationship with NESO Starts Here
We encourage all prospective suppliers to create and maintain a supplier profile. This helps us understand your business and assess how you may support our needs.
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation message from the system confirming that your profile has been successfully created. Please note:
- Registration does not guarantee contract award(s).
- Registration simply brings your organisation to our attention.
- It enables NESO to identify potential suppliers for sourcing events. Some sourcing events may be open to all suppliers, regardless of whether they are registered in advance.

Who we are
NESO will be built upon our previous experience as the Electricity System Operator (ESO). As ESO, we had extensive expertise in balancing electricity supply and demand 24/7 without interruption, whilst making sure the networks we operated and the markets we served were prepared for the future.
