Balancing mechanism
This document describes the operational metering architecture that the National Energy System Operator (NESO) has in place to enable the connection of small BMUs (≤100MW) to NESO's BM Systems. This architecture facilitates participation in the GB Balancing Mechanism and other balancing services like Pathfinder, Dynamic Containment, Dynamic Moderation, and Dynamic Regulation projects. The solution is part of the Wider Access programme and is expandable to include the TERRE programme.
