Balancing Reserve Requirements Medium term forecast
This data file contains the forward view of requirements for each service day in the rolling window. These requirements are forecast using the same Dynamic Reserve Setting system but are produced without the detailed wind and solar data. Therefore they should be considered as a rough guide to the scale and shape of requirement. These figures are not revised closer to real time. Each day an additional day will be added to the rolling window contained within the data file. The current day being removed and appended to the archive file. For current day requirements please see the Balancing Reserve Day ahead auction requirements forecast, which is updated daily using the detailed wind and solar forecast.
